Pine Needle Tea Recipe

Pine Needle Tea
Rich in Vitamin C

1. Pluck a handful of pine needles from a tree growing in an area 50 feet or more away from motorized travel. The needles nearest the trunk are highest in Vitamin C.
2. Chop the pine needles and put them into a tea ball or wrap them in cheesecloth or gauze.
3. Bring water to a boil.
4. Steep the pine needles for 3-5 minutes.

The flavor is very delicate, but distinct. You can flavor with honey or drink it plain.
