It’s a warm, clear night and this month’s full moon, the full harvest moon, dominates the sky. I see no stars.
The farmers in my CSA may well be out there harvesting the abundant yield. I know that they are irrigating. We haven’t had significant rain in over two weeks. There are few mushrooms.
But it’s a beautiful night and with the days getting shorter, it’s a wonderful opportunity to take a night hike.
