I love wild apples. These were probably planted and then left to go wild. They are crisp, tart and taste like autumn to me.
I have no idea what kind of spider this is. It’s huge and has been spinning this web for a couple of days.
I love the autumn wildflowers.
And the lake as the morning fog burns off.

Something about your blog leaves me feeling so peaceful. I love the way the visual works with the simple prose. I want to be where you are, where everything is just so lovely. And, by the way, fall is my favorite time of year. Everything seems so alive in the fall, even more so than in the spring when things are being reborn. Don’t know why it feels that way to me — it’s just a clarity I can only ascribe to the changing of the summer season (which, I have to admit, I absolutely hate). Thanks for visiting my blogs on MWLM. I’ll be visiting here again frequently, I’m sure.

My husband and his dad go ape when they discover wild, forgotten apple trees! One calls the other and off they go to collect their treats. I loved seeing you blog about that.
